The Importance Of Quitting Smoking

Nowadays, the number of tobacco users, especially cigarettes and hookah, has increased. Smoking causes a lot of damage to the lungs and then to the whole body. Many people may consider the use of hookah or cigarettes as an entertainment. But this entertainment causes lung cancer. Like other body parts, lungs need daily care.

The lungs are two large organs in the chest that receive air transported from the trachea and bronchial tubes and extract the oxygen contained in the inhaled air and enter it into the bloodstream. At the same time, carbon dioxide is removed from the blood and leaves the body through exhalation during breathing.

To help prevent toxins and environmental pollutants from accumulating in your lungs, as well as dust and smoke, cleansing the lungs regularly is a must.

People who smoke or have quit for a while, as well as people who are exposed to secondhand and thirdhand smoke, need lung cleansing and detoxification.

The harms of tobacco and exposure to cigarette and hookah smoke have been proven to everyone. The continuous entry of smoke into the lungs causes a person to feel heaviness, tightness, or inflammation in the chest. Accumulation of sputum in the lungs causes the accumulation of microbes in the throat and this adds to the feeling of heaviness in the chest.

It’s never too late to quit smoking, and although your lungs may never fully recover, but at least they will get better than before. Therefore, quitting smoking after 40 years is better than remaining a smoker for the rest of your life. The lungs are self-cleaning organs that begin to heal themselves when exposure to pollutants ceases, such as when smoking is stopped. When your lungs have normal and ideal conditions, there is no inflammation, swelling and obstruction caused by sputum in the lungs.

There are medicines called “lung cleaners” that are derivatives of “N-acetylcysteine” which are prescribed by doctors. These medicines are mainly expectorant, and in smokers etc., they clear the sediments accumulated in the lungs in the form of sputum to some extent, but they do not eliminate the side effects caused by smoking, etc. These are only expectorant.

It should be noted that the best way to cleansing the lungs is to change the lifestyle, not smoking, inhaling clean air, and doing gentle exercise in clean air and staying away from pollution. Some traditional medicine methods also help the lung cleansing process and accelerate it.

Who Is More Interested In Smoking Cigarette?

Being a smoker is the result of intense activity of yellow bile (which means hot and dry temperament) or intense activity of hot or cold black bile in the body.

Smoking and all kinds of smokes cause anemia. The tendency to smoke is seen more in dry temperaments (melancholic + choleric) or blood groups A+ and AB+, and it is possible that even one whiff of smoke lead hot and dry or cold and dry temperaments to cancer.

A feeling of chest pain that lasts for more than a month without any explanation may be a warning sign. If such pain occurs or worsens due to inhaling, exhaling or coughing, it is a sign of a lung problem.

When shortness of breath occurs, it is usually caused by heart or lung disease. This sign can be related to each of them, because they both play a role in the transfer of oxygen to the tissues and the elimination of carbon dioxide. When any of these problems are present, it leads to shortness of breath.

When hemoptysis occurs, there is always a lung or upper respiratory tract problem that needs immediate attention.

Wheezing is a whistling sound that is usually heard during exhalation, but may also occur during inhalation. This condition is usually a sign that an external object has blocked the normal flow of air in the lungs or narrowed the lung breathing pathway.
